I guess I saw it as nonsensical job interview questions that have nothing to do with the job.

One of the odder episodes. Sandra Oh was the guest host and she was a bit player in every sketch but the last one of the night. Weird. Cecily Strong (particularly her Pirro) is one of the most underrated performers they've ever had on the show. McKinnon gets the juiciest stuff - but Strong's Pirro is probably the most devasting portrayals of anyone in TrumpWorld.

Strong has been a solid 'glue' performer for years now. I like her more than Wiig, who I thought was way overused for years. "Drunk girl at a party" is an all-timer Weekend Update bit to me, because of how funny it is and how much it resonated with experiences at parties in my 20s.

I do wonder how they decide what gets cut -- because it's usually better than half of what gets on

One of the producers has a kid on an Ivy League wait list?

Bonus points for Cecily being the daughter of a former AP reporter.

Joke of the Night: HBO presents future GoT crossovers including Cersei in the City and No Ballers (with pictures of eunuchs) etc.

And I'm always a sucker when the co-workers of a guest host show up in support.

Harrington without his beard looks like a 12 year old.

Last night’s show wasn’t great, but they skewered Biden in the cold open.
