Ran into two of mine last night:

    — People who lean forward while watching a hockey game. Sit back in your seat, otherwise it messes up the sight lines.

    — Drivers who randomly brake on the freeway. If you’re driving too fast or getting too close, lift your foot off the gas. Braking should be the last alternative.

Why does Venmo allow you to see the details of your friends' transactions? You can't see the amount, but you can definitely see the date, who was paying or receiving, and also the notes associated with it. What purpose does that serve? Is it supposedly to be some kind of social app? I rarely use it so hadn't noticed till now.

It's been 25 years, so I have no idea. Whatever it was, it was unreadable.

Reading a book by Jake Trapper, set in 1954. One of the characters drives a red Mustang, which is quite a trick, since the Mustang wasn't introduced until 1964.

I too am irked by lazy writing like that.

We were watching 9-1-1, which is a ridiculous, suspend your imagination TV show with its unlikely rescues, when a dispatcher took a call from Glendale and LAPD responded. Glendale is its own city with its own PD. Not a huge deal, but lazy writing.

Jake Trapper (Keeper) or Jake Tapper (CNN)?
