"Authorities say the coaches accepted bribes in exchange for admitting students as athletes, regardless of their ability."

Not sure why this in included a "news" story, but OK....

It is definitely from the annals of WTF.

First, I had no idea Felicity Huffman was married to William Macy. Thing I read said they bribed the proctor so their daughter would get twice the time to take her SAT as other students.

Does this make Felicity Huffman a... desperate housewife?

The Yale soccer coach took $400,000 for a kid who didn't even play the sport?

    I blame soccer.

So it looks like the FBI got the company owners who did the bribing and cheating to rollover and cooperate against the parents. It’s like getting the drug dealers to cooperate so they can go after the drug users. That’s backwards. You dont go down the chain, you go up the chain. This is a publicity stunt by the FBI. This doesn’t excuse rich people from cheating, just donate directly and make the deal with the University, like its been done for centuries. If you can’t afford to endow a chair in the Engineering Department so your kid can major in Flemish Arts and Crafts, then study harder or make more money.
