If you do away with conferences for seeding then have a balanced schedule

It was quite a controversy in 1969 when MLB went to divisions, but (I believe) Bill Veeck said it best: "You can't sell an 11th place team."

Which of course you can't do with 30 teams and an 82-game schedule.

Russ is just crazy enough, I don't think I would want to trifle with him.

Fan told him to "get on your knees like you're used to."

Dude is a redneck in a camo hat and has some pretty shitty tweets that he's now scrubbing (people got screengrabs).

I, for one, would not mess with Russ either.

Russ reminds me of Billy Cole from the movie The Last Boyscout. Wouldn't surprise me at all if the next time someone from the crowd says something stupid like that, he just reaches into his shorts for his 9, and starts putting caps in asses.

Nah. Russ isn't like that. He's a great guy off the court, in fact. He's just crazy competitive on it. I doubt he even owns a gun.

The NBA should do everything they can to support Russell Westbrook. I don't think the league treasures him but they should. He is absolutely the best the NBA has to offer. He gives maximum effort every single night. Doesn't play the drama games. Kept with his hometown team in a crappy city. Did I mention maximum effort?

When so many teams are tanking, or players being dramatic or making trade demands, which results in all stars sitting large chunks of seasons, Westbrook absolutely brings it every game. He is the best this league has.

He really does seem like the rare person who plays with a chip on his shoulder but lives otherwise.

My kids and I love him. Max effort every night, no diva shit and the most meme-able expressions and body language in the league.
