    Because the Lakers and Lonzo have nothing to do with LaVar. LaVar is not a Lakers employee and was not in any way working on their behalf.

    That's why they make the big $$; (at least Lacob and Peters);

    2013 - purchase price of Warriors $435 M;

    2019- Forbes' valuation $3.5B!

    Of course the Ws have not merely tread water, they've invested (and probably reinvested) capital into building the Chase Center in SF. Still, that's a huge increase in value. Unfortunately, James Dolan continues to be rewarded ($4B) for indifferent meddling.
