    Wait. Wait. Wait.
Sign him as a punter tonight.
The Hunt-Punt fiasco that ensued shortly thereafter would be gold.

It's all about value. The Browns clearly think Hunt is worth the bad PR while every team seems to have decided that Kaepernick is not.

Redskins missed a chance. Already in deep doo over Foster, and once you’re in doo, what’s some more doo?

Uhhh.... Yeah. Hunt's upside is that he's potentially the best all-around running back in the NFL. Kaepernick's upside is... WAY lower than that.

Precisely. And also why Vick got another chance and Kaep did not. Talent always wins out.

Kaepernick’s upside was that he was as good as a third of the QBs who started week 17

If you guys want to pretend Kaepernick is not on a roster because of talent concerns, knock yourself out. You should know better.

You really think a team would take a bigger PR hit for signing Kaepernick than Hunt? I don’t. All they’d have to say is, “Did he punch a woman?” and that debate is basically over. Vick electrocuted dogs for god’s sake. And people love their dogs man. People got over it. Vick is now an announcer. He got that second chance because of talent, not bc NFL owners all secretly love cats.

The teams absolutely believe they would take a bigger hit with Kaepernick. Did the league commission fan surveys to determine the fan reaction if a team were to sign Hunt? Because they did that with Kaepernick.
