Pebble is a disaster right now.

I'm watching the replay. What a joke to keep playing in those conditions. I know you want to get it in because of the format and how long it takes to play these rounds, but you had holes full of water.

I didn't think Eastwood could look any older than he did on The Mule.
I was mistaken. On now with Nantzy and Faldo.
I love Eastwood but he looks like hell

Well you'd look like hell, too, if you spent all your time trying to avoid the typhus scourge that's heading your way up the coast.

Assuming Phil closes this out tomorrow morning, does winning help him for the U.S.Open or is it no factor?

I'm thrilled Phil's pissed they stopped play today. "Let me just tee off on 18".

    Gimme a break.

Zero factor. Completely different course. Plus, they only played two rounds at Pebble, not four.

He's pissed, for sure. But if it was reversed, he would be hailed for following the rules in place.

Normally I’d say yes but Phil has had a lot of success there and winning four months before the Open has to give him a lot of confidence
It might be his last best shot

If you ever get a chance to go to Pebble and just walk on the 7th green - do it. Pretty magical spot.
