My daughter's on Jeopardy starting Tuesday... can I brag?

$2,600 at the first break. That's my score.

$7,400 after the first round. Answered incorrectly twice.

Jade came on there at the end. She seemed a little nervous, but I hope she got over that in Double Jeopardy!

$12,800. Lost $5,000 on that second daily double. Bet it all. And I hope Jade gets the answer while the dudes both miss and risk too much.

Advice for anyone going in for one of those Jeopardy tryouts. Acing the test is one thing - make sure you have an interesting "story" about yourself to tell. That is how they decide whether you make it on. Knowledge is one thing, but they want someone with an engaging personality and someone people have a reason to root for.

I passed the test - I guess I failed the "personality" test. But I got to keep a Jeopardy pen - so there is that.

I know this - the defending champion constantly pressing that clicker is going to make me nuts. Dude, give it a rest

Your daughter or the guy with the long hair better win. I can't take this guy

There's a good amount of value to having a story you can tell at every party that everybody wants to hear, though.

Do you have to find your own way to Jeopardy! or do they pay for you to go?
