Game of the week is the Eagles vs. Cowboys in Dallas on Sunday afternoon, 4:25 eastern time. Both teams are coming off big victories, especially Dallas who defeated the Saints last Thursday night.

Quite a tribute to Mark Sanchez that the GIANTS are giving 3.5 on the road against Washington.

I think it opened at Washington -1 before the McCoy injury.

I don't think the Steelers should be double-digit favorites over anybody right now, even the Raiders. James Conner was ruled out for the game Tuesday and there isn't much behind him, so they don't have the means to take advantage of Oakland's crappy run defense.

On a more positive note, Ryan Shazier has progressed from walking without assistance to jogging.

As always, the Steelers, Cowboys and Packers lines are all nudged higher than they should be due to the influx of money on public teams.

They are playing against a team that appears to be actively trying to lose.

I thought the Steelers opened as 11-point favorites over the Raiders and it dropped to 10.5. I thought it would go down more once Conner was ruled out.

There were moments Sunday night when the Steelers seemed to be actively trying to lose. Sean Davis broke up an interception by his own teammate!
