This sounds like a general assignment position?

After a week? Wow. Must be an inside hire, if they're indeed done.

  8. Is this a GA position or is this to replace Gina Mizell, who left the Nuggets beat to cover the Suns for the Athletic?

I'm interested to know how Denver's housing boom might be affecting the hiring process. I know the Post probably still pays decent, but the housing market there is out of control and prices are skyrocketing. Might be a challenge for someone who wants to stay long term to find an affordable place to buy. Or am I wrong somewhere?

Housing prices definitely have skyrocketed. And rents aren't much better. And that's in the city itself as well as the suburbs.

The Post recently laid off 1/3 of the staff. Careful assuming the pay will be decent.

Indeed. Guess thinking back years ago, that was the case.
