    Job opportunity at Gannett | USA TODAY NETWORK - Sports Reporter

    IndyStar,a back-to-back winner of APSE Grand Slams, is looking for a reporter to own a coveted college beat with a long and rich heritage. This reporter will cover Notre Dame sports -- mainly football, but also other sports and news as merited. She or he will be branded as the IndyStar Notre Dame Insider and will produce a high volume of high-value digital content including breaking news, enterprise stories that provide context and analysis and entertaining features and profiles. In the offseason, this reporter will handle enterprise stories and general assignment work.


    This reporter will develop content that takes advantage of all delivery forms available to us, including social media, mobile, desktop, video, television and print.


    A minimum five years of reporting experience and some college sports experience are preferred.

    The last sentence of the first graf says "In the offseason, this reporter will handle enterprise stories and general assignment work."

    Are they hiring an additional person just for enterprise?

    Job is based in South Bend and involves travel for all ND football games. In addition to IndyStar, your work will also appear in USA TODAY and across the USA TODAY Network.
