The South Florida Sun Sentinel is looking for an aggressive sports reporter to cover the Miami Dolphins.

Candidates to cover this crucial beat must have at least three years of experience covering pro or college sports for a website or newspaper and show they can break news on a tough beat.

The reporter we seek needs to be accurate, energetic, social-media savvy, comfortable on both sides of a video camera and have a strong sense of urgency. The right candidate will be a self-starter who can hit the ground running.

Interested candidates should email a cover letter, resume, five clips and contact information for three professional references by Aug. 10 to Sports Editor Kathy Laughlin at klaughlin@sun-sentinel.com.

    No phone calls, please.

Interesting way to say "*raises hand*."

They should hire back the fabulous writer they just laid off 2 weeks ago.

I'm sure they want no part of paying that 40-year veteran's salary again, though. :)

He also volunteered in mid-career to move to the sports desk and was an ace designer and copy editor for many years before returning to writing. And his institutional knowledge was priceless.

That's an excellent point, Bronco. More age discrimination.

I wonder who left the Dolphins beat.
