What an idiot thing to say. Cooking, especially barbecue, is full of 'bad' cuts of meat people had to use prepared in a way to make them taste great. Brisket was what was left after steaks and ribs were used up. It used to be dirt cheap.

That point was made in the comments.

I just thought it was a funny post, and it fit the conversation perfectly.

You ever had a slow-smoked filet mignon?

    Exactly.

I thought you might be interested. .... I found my last 4 quarry tiles for our other oven!!! Not in Chinatown, though. I didn't realize there was another Daltile showroom in Chelsea, around where there are a bunch of tile stores. I took 45 minutes for lunch, walked in a few of the tile stores in the area with no luck. Then I went into the Daltile showroom. The woman who worked there wasn't the nicest, but I talked her into selling me four tiles she pulled out of their basement (I am sure she pocketed the money, since they don't do any commerce there; in fact, I had to go out to try to make change somewhere). They are slightly chipped around the edges, and I slightly overpaid, but they are good enough with the ones I already had. So I am good to go. Sometimes the littlest things can make you so happy.

I'm having the large Meat Lover's from Pizza Hut tonight in your honor.

You thought you were going to tweak me with the "meat lovers" thing. But what actually made me cringe were the words "Pizza Hut."
