    I cannot seem to post images anymore. Think links provided by Google Images come up as errors now.

    Also, this: Sometimes the quote function captures only the sentence or passage I highlight, as intended, but other times it captures the entire post from which I'm attempting to quote. So then it's no different from the Reply function, and I have to chop all the unwanted stuff out. ... Anyone else?

    I believe you have to go to the page where the image is hosted and copy the image location. If you right-click the image within the GIS search results, the image address you get isn't valid to post.
