Sports Editor | Brookhaven (MS) Daily Leader

    The Brookhaven Daily Leader, a daily newspaper in Southwest Mississippi, is seeking a sports editor to lead its coverage of area schools. The position will oversee a host of stringers and will be responsible for writing, editing and photography. The ideal candidate will have experience as a sports writer, either at a college publication or a weekly or daily newspaper.

    My best friend is the managing editor of this paper. He was the sports editor for a few months last year before moving up and was not pleased with the replacement as he just rehashed the past year and didn't provide features.
