    Great. Now do Dale Murphy.

He was better than Cano but for a much shorter period.

    What is your argument?

That's just it. My only argument is that Dale Murphy belongs in the Hall of Fame because his numbers were excellent and he sold tickets. Not to mention, he single-handedly carried MLB on his back in the South for nearly a decade.

Other than that, I couldn't care less about who is in any HoF anywhere.

    Puig?

And the other two are two of the best players in the game.

TF brought up Puig the other day, too, as representative of baseball royalty.

I cite Puig as someone who received HUGE amounts of press during the time Robbie Cano might otherwise have had a little bit of the national spotlight - but did not.

I don’t disagree. Los Angeles market, interesting back story, big personality.

If Miggy plays out that contract, he might be the first major leaguer to field his position on a Rascal scooter.

Maybe this has been covered already, but is there any legitimate purpose for Lasix other than as blood pressure medication?

What could possibly be more embarrassing than a positive PED test that Cano can't just tell us what it was?

I know it’s used in horseracing to keep them from bleeding.

So maybe Cano planned on winning the Preakness.

Has there ever been a modern major league ballplayer voted into the HOF with a Q rating of 0?*

    * you don't have to answer that, pedants.
