MLB 2018 regular season thread

    Now I want to tell someone there's a picture in the foam of their beer when there isn't and see how long they look before figuring out I'm screwing with them.

    I was kind of confused about it, too. I'm guessing they didn't clear it with the players first.

    MLB players aren’t allowed to promote alcohol.

    The story linked in the OP says they are, it just has to be cleared by the team, the player and MLB first.

    I think tomorrow's all-day Opening Day will be a big hit. Baseball basically from noon to midnight. All 30 teams were scheduled; now one game is off.

    Baseball should do something like this every day. There should always be at least one game at 1 p.m., 4 p.m., and 7 p.m. EST. The rest can be scheduled at 7 p.m., or whatever times they wish. Then you have 12 hours of baseball play per day.

    Ah, i see that now. The initial ESPN story said simply that they aren’t allowed to.
