Times hires, fires technology writer

    Surprised this hasn't been brought up here.

    Times announces a hire, has to fire her hours later, as tweets are found where she talks about being friends with Nazi (to be fair, she calls her one Nazi friend and awful person!) and use slurs words for homosexuals and others.

    It's better here. Deserves its own thread.

    She's a perfect reflection of the moral/ethical/cultural vacuum in tech. Just no understanding of how anything relates to anything else, either across history or in the current moment.

    And pay close attention to those retweets, kids. N-word and F-word tweets in or out of context will kill you.
