Dirt stupid, mean racist Alabama Republicans, that's who. State should probably still be under occupation by the US Army and citizens forced to swear an oath of allegiance to vote. These guys wouldn't do it.

Wouldn't shock me if, in another five weeks, Jefferson Beauregard Secessions XVII is back in his old job. Makes perfect sense. He gets out of Trumpland, thereby clearing the way for Trump to whack Mueller. He becomes a hero to the voters in his home state for this. So much so that he has no trouble running and winning a write-in campaign.

I think this one might be a bit raw for Congress. Also ineffectual. Minus Sessions, Rosenstein would still be in charge and Senate confirmation of a Trump toady might go more roughly than back in January. Also, Sessions NEEDS to be head of DoJ. His involvement in Russia probe is still an issue in stuff such as perjury.

The immediacy of Senate Republicans' responses -- many of them in prepared statements -- suggests they are not shocked by these allegations. While most of them -- McCain being an exception -- have included the qualifier "if these allegations are true," it's still noteworthy that so many have weighed in so swiftly.
Now among state-level Alabama Republicans, however, it's, of course, a different story.
This is the state that gave us George Wallace and Jefferson Beauregard Secessions XVII, among others.

Yet if Secessions leaves, Trump can appoint an interim AG on the condition that that person whack Mueller, right?

    Another non-Alabama voter weighs in.

Hannity saying this is all very confusing because, though 14, she did consent. Who is to say what's wrong?

30 fucking people, btw. The Post spoke to 30 people for this story and got every woman on the record.
