A year ago today, dems on this board would have insisted he would not be the nominee, and were laughing at me for suggesting he was one of the front runners.

It’s now beginning to look inevitable.

So, maybe the folks who were laughing should be the ones asked to explain why it’s no longer funny to suggest.

If he runs, that almost certainly will mean that Leslie Knope won't.

Joe Biden would have wrecked Trump by 10 points last year, and if he runs in 2020, he'll win by more.

Does Biden have a Pee Pee tape in his past?

Not really, though I guess they may go that route now. I appreciate that they're doing it, but it's pretty transparent that they thought they would lose. Someone (Romney?) needs to set themselves up as the leader of the party in exile. The rare opportunity for a politician when what's right is also a good career move.

...and then they'll vote for Bernie.

WaPo has four Alabama women accusing Roy Moore of attempted seduction when he was in his 30s and they were teenagers. One was 14. Even in Alabama, that might get a candidate in trouble.

They'll just call it fake news and move on. Seriously. They don't give a fuck about crap like that. But when a Hollywood libhurl does it, they wail.

Wow, it's almost like anyone who tells other people how to live their sexual lives might turn out to be full of it.

Though if he had been the nominee and lost, we would be saying this about Hillary.
