With spring training concluded, time to play ball for real.

Three games Sunday, including the World Champion Cubs (believe it!) at St. Louis. Also Yankees at Rays and Giants at D'backs. Everyone else in action Monday.

    Have at it!

I don't know, but you can bet your ass ESPN had something to do with it.

Many empty seats at TB. Went there before Rays got good, 03 or 04, and it was the same. The parking near the stadium then was very cheap, think $5. Is it still the same?

You aren't encouraged by Jhoulys Chacin as an opening-day starter?

Padres are carrying four catchers and three Rule 5 draftees on their Opening Day roster.

The Royals are going to win 93 games and lose the ALCS in six in one last hurrah for the core group.

    Four catchers? WTF?

Edit: I just read a story about the roster on the Padres' website. I see that includes Bethancourt, who can also play the outfield and they plan to use him to pitch in relief as well.
