I remember people pointing guns at law enforcement offers at the Bundy Ranch and I don't remember cops shooting anyone there.

The estate is responsible for repaying the city the cost of two bullets, as well.

South Carolina cop who shot a black man in a parking lot during a traffic stop pleads guilty and faces 20 years. Of all these incidents, this was one that stuck out to me as especially egregious. The cop's dash cam showed him jumping out of the car firing, in a convenience store parking lot, with traffic and the store in the background, and what appeared to be absolutely no justification.

U.S. District Court document including Officer Darren Wilson's list of admissions

Discovery from civil suit against Darren Wilson released. Among the admissions from Wilson:

    - He reached through the window and grabbed Brown
    - Contrary to previous stories, Brown never went for Wilson's gun
    - Brown had not gone for or displayed a weapon prior to the start of the shooting
    - Wilson fired at Brown while he was running away

Also a remarkably casual use of N-bombs among the white officers of Ferguson. Ain't no big thing, though.

Have a cousin who is a retired drug detective back in Pittsburgh. This shocks me none.

Updating this thread with an ugly and scary story ...

Ramsey Orta filmed the killing of Eric Garner. The video traveled far, but it wouldn't get justice for his dead friend. Instead, the NYPD would exact their revenge through targeted harassment and eventually imprisonment — Orta's punishment for daring to show the world police brutality.

He filmed the killing of Eric Garner—and the police punished him for it
