It amuses me how much of the early season narrative turns on these holiday tournament games played hundreds, sometimes thousands, of miles away from campus in front of a couple hundred bored souls and often broadcast on what looks like a community access channel feed.

A lot of times a mid-major will jump to the fore in these early tournaments and become a trendy Cinderella pick. Not sure which ones this year.

Maybe Grambling should stick to football. Down 40 at Virginia. At halftime.

Don't know why Indiana is playing at Ft. Wayne but will never happen again if they lose. And right now the Hoosiers are down 10 in the second half.

Hey now, high school gyms in Indiana are about the same size as Cameron Indoor.

I kinda want to see Virginia and Kansas play right now just because I'm curious if it's possible for two Top 10 teams to play and not have a field goal made by a front court player.

Georgetown lost by 27 to Oklahoma State.

Not to fear, John Thompson III is still 124 games over .500 there.
