    Damn. Still remember getting to see him during his last U.S. Open at Oakmont Country Club. I never cared about golf, but I knew that was something I needed to see.

    When my grandpa taught me how to swing a golf club, he taught me to put a little loop at the end of my follow-through, "like Arnie does." RIP to the man who brought golf to the common man.

    No one lives for ever, and Arnie was 87, but I don't think I was ever going to be ready for this day. The guy remained a giant right to the end, even if he could no longer swing a club. For crying out loud, they named a drink after him.
