A $5,000 strip club tab will do it. Guess that beats getting laid off.

Well that's one way to make a dog walker seem like a legitimate expense.

  4. I was once grilled by our accountant over two Wendy's chicken sandwiches.

    Why'd you need two sandwiches?

    Did you buy someone lunch?

David Cross could play him in a biopic, if it ever came to that.

This could be a good lesson for everyone with a company credit card.

Always carry enough blank taxi receipts to cover a $5,000 strip club bill.

He also, allegedly, was going on a junket paid for by Dom Perignon, and leveraged excessive coverage of Coachella for transportation and lodging. LAT bosses only found out because he pulled out of the Dom Perignon trip at the last minute and the Dom Perignon reps called the LAT to ask if somebody else on staff wanted to go.

Journalism is a hard job. We often have to make split-second decisions.

Have you ever been in a strip club? He may have feared for his life. That's why he pulled the platinum company Amex and fired. We may have all done the same if we were in his champagne-soaked shoes.

Let's not throw reporters under the table. It's crowded and suspiciously sticky under there.

We need to stand together and form a black and white and read all over shield for our fallen colleague.
