    Some of the best writers I ever worked with were female. They knew their shit. These guys don't. Disgusting.

    Agreed that this was very well-done.

    Twitter -- despite being arguably the greatest news distribution service ever invented -- is a haven for assholes and brutal behaviour. It's not just women who get it. The worst is that the company just doesn't give a fuck. They let it happen, don't do the bare minimum to stop it. That's a major reason it's not showing any growth.

    ISIS recruits on Twitter. Crazy murderers post their murders to it.

    Do that on cable and see how far it gets you. These same assholes call sports talk radio shows but they're conditioned to know: Can't do that on the radio.

    If you regulated Twitter like radio and TV -- remember, the NFL is coming to Twitter - Twitter would clean up its act real fast.

    It's horrible, what these women are going through. But let's understand that it takes seconds to create an account, it can be the dumbest, most anonymous name possible, people can instantly write terrible things, and hell, just go create another account. You can't shame the shameless and faceless into changing. You need to challenge the provider to change.
