    Diversion agreement, attend classes, pay a big fine, no DUII on her permanent record unless she gets popped again.

    Because that's how it works in Oregon if you are charged with DUII, are a first-time offender, and do not want to take your chances at trial. You are offered a mulligan of sorts, a diversion agreement that, if followed, expunges the DUII from your record upon completion.
