Anyone see the spot that just ran on CNN?

Holy crap, the tag line is funny.

Edit: I've got to find it online and link it.

Edit Number 2: Guess this has been out for quite a while:

New to me, so deal, like my kids say.

    Hahahahaha ! :D

I only wish he'd included a message of: "I need all people far and wide, of all political parties and persuasions, to stop using my dad's name in a historically inaccurate way when trying to get yourselves elected."

Good Friday is one of the days I'm happiest to no longer be a practicing Catholic. I remember being hauled off to Stations of the Cross services that were long and excruciating when I could have been playing basketball. Killed a perfectly good day off from school.

The Good Friday service is the strangest one of the year.

But, the getting up and down from your knees so many times is a good workout.

Theist here, but I'm putting them on my list of organizations to support. Church and state need to keep the heck away from each other. And good for Ron Reagan, Jr. for speaking up on their behalf. This lefty's always liked him.

Heavy on the incense as I recall, too.

Oh yeah. Had forgotten about that.

Haven't been to one in a while. Won't make it this year.

The Archbishop is apparently visiting the NICU tomorrow morning though, so I've got that going for me.

He'll need a porter to carry those bags under his eyes into hell.

I don't care if you believe or don't - just keep it out my face.

And, to rub it in, it's usually an hour-and-a-half service compared to Sunday's usual hour-long one.

I know it's been years, but I still vividly remember being seriously dissed by the priest who ran the Catholic school where I spent my seventh and eighth grade years.

It's one of the many things along the way that makes me glad I'm not practicing any religion.
