    Damn, just when I was hit with Garagiola's death, now comes this. "The White Shadow" was my favorite show as a kid and I hated when they canceled it. I followed his career ever since.

    The first season is TV at its finest. In fact the first eposode might be the best in TV history. White Shadow and NBC Game of the Week with Garagiola were 2 of the first staples of my youth.

    Coach Reeves and Cybil the vice principal had a real chemistry. And the man to man Coach Reeves and Heywood have is legend.

    I never saw The White Shadow, but I enjoyed his work in 30 Rock.

    I always wanted to sing in the shower with the fellas. The freeze frame at the end is absolute perfection.
