Media should routinely report coaches' bonuses for winning NCAA games

    Just get a copy of the coach's contract and look it up. Easy peasy.

    Might be worth a notebook item at best. I highly doubt that Jane Public will clutch her pearls over it.

    Related to it, I was kinda glad LSU refused to play in a postseason tournament. Prestige of the NIT aside, it's not like the players are getting paid anything extra for playing in it..

    I love it when the whole system can be mocked.

    That being said, players in Simmons's shoes really should take a couple of business classes during their half-year of schooling, just to help them make their money work for them.

    Yeah. Not sure what he meant by "the last year for which the NCAA has posted audited numbers on its website."

    But their audited financial statement for their fiscal year that ended August, 2015 is on their website (it shows revenue of about $912 million):
