    His nephew is an aspiring rapper and college student. Tyson didn't ask him to rap on the top, as you are implying here. The kid did it on his own and his uncle is supporting him and the message put forth.

    In terms of funny, that is certainly in the eye of the beholder. He's a lot like my nerdy friends using goofy jokes that aren't funny to the vast majority because you have to be a dork to get them.


    He was one of the people that downgraded Pluto. He also hosts the wonderful Startalk podcast. He's a legitimate scientist interested in learning new things and exploring what is unknown.
