Weird morning for gas. I needed to fill up, and on the way to work I saw some stations in the low $1.40s -- about where they've been lately -- but others that were that low had shot up to $1.59 overnight. When I got to the QT station that has consistently had the area's lowest price (it was $1.34 over the weekend), I discovered it, too, had gone up to $1.59. Fortunately, the 7-11 across the street was still at $1.37 (so are the two stations right next to my office), so I was able to get my $20 fillup. But it looks like prices are starting to go up again.

Going back up here. From $1.18 on Saturday to $1.31 yesterday and $1.37 today.

They're switching to the more expensive summer blend ... oh wait, that's the spring excuse.

Same thing here, up $.15 since last week, and nary a pipeline spill or refinery fire to blame it on ...

Oddly enough, it's gone down a couple of cents here this week. It's always a trend, so it's going to go down some more before it goes back up.
