    Nobody Obama nominates would possibly be confirmed by the Senate.

    Unless they were so utterly reactionary as to be completely repulsive to the Dems.

    Any such person would by definition have to be committed to utterly eradicating any program supported by the Obama administration .

    Even if Obama can't get a nominee confirmed, the implications could affect Democratic voter turnout positively, regardless the presidential nominee.
