ESPN reports the Browns will send Johnny Fuckin' Football on his way. They apparently did this without consulting the homeless of Cleveland, so that's a good sign that the organization is on the upswing.

Source: Browns to cut ties with Manziel in March

Appears that Sashi Brown, director of football operations, does not view Johnny in the same positive light that Sashi Brown, owner of Bohemian Caverns jazz club, might.

"We've been clear about expectations for our players on and off the field. Johnny's continual involvement in incidents that run counter to those expectations undermines the hard work of his teammates and the reputation of our organization," Brown said. "His status with our team will be addressed when permitted by league rules. We will have no further comment at this time."

Least surprising news ever. The question is if he'll get another chance. The assumption is Jerry Jones is on board, but has he actually indicated that?

You could say that about a lot of teams though.

I'm thinking he wants to be famous because he's in N.Y. But boy, if he thought he got grief for his one-word answers at press conferences out here ...

The Jets have a better QB right now. Why would they want him? He should be buttering up Chip.

Chan Gailey is pretty well regarded as an OC, so perhaps Kaepernick thinks he can help him get back on track?

Shoot. He probably doesn't even know who Chan Gailey is.

Kaepernick or Alex Smith? Who would you rather have?

The Cowboys have flipped from bad-guy acquisition to good-guy so many times in Jerry's ownership it's hard to keep up with. After Josh Brent, Greg Hardy, Joseph Randle and a 2015 rookie class full of red flags, Jerry is due for another flip. I think he passes on JFF this summer and goes for RG3 instead. RG3 has his own baggage but is not a bad guy at all.

Remember, Jerry famously passed on Randy Moss in the draft because of Moss's character.
