Damn! NOoooooo!! Grew up with the Eagles and the "The Heat is On!!" and "I Can't Tell You Why". RIP indeed.

Damn, a tough start to 2016 for rock.

Have always enjoyed listening to the Eagles, even though their glory days were a tad before my time. Of Glenn's songs, "James Dean" is a personal favorite.

RIP to a Michigander who made it big.

Didn't see that coming. And, Coco, "James Dean" is one of the greats, for sure.

Too fast to live, too young to die. Bye-bye, Glenn.

He could check out any time he liked. But they let him leave. RIP.

Will he be buried in a Miami Vice jacket?

Not a giant of the giants like Bowie, but definitely one of the big-timers.

Few bands could match the great guitar riffs, fills and solos of the Eagles. "The History of the Eagles" is a great DVD, also on Netflix.
"On the Border" is incredibly underrated. Glenn, sorry that you're gone already.
