Huge fire at Dubai skyscraper

    At the Address Hotel. May or may not have been caused by a New Year's eve fireworks display.



    (P.S. — I wanted to use "Now that's a FIRE!" for the subject line, but seeing as how hundreds of people might be dead, I refrained).

    Back on topic, there is likely no way this is not a disaster of epic proportions. Trying to rescue people in a skyscraper is next to impossible. Lots of people are going to die. Ugh.

    That's the worst fire I've ever seen -- by far. If hundreds don't die, it will be a miracle. Holy shit, what a conflagration.

    Just saw a headline that said the fireworks celebration would go on as planned. WTF?

    Fox News pretty much assuming it's a terrorist attack and say no reports of injuries or anyone trapped in hotel. I can't imagine everyone got out of there.
