A couple minutes before the Vikings and Cardinals kicked off, CBS' Bob Schieffer hosted McCain (R-Ariz) and Franken (D-Minn) for a football debate. They were both pretty damn funny ripping on each other's team.

Impressive job finding the hole and then making the safety miss on that run.

The Metroplex will be at COWBOYCON 3 if they somehow win in Green Bay.

Can't see that happening ... much more likely that all 4 NFC East teams lose this week.

Although the Bears will have to overcome both the Redskins and home-Spaceship disadvantage.

The Vikings have given the Cardinals a much, much better game tonight than the Packers will in two weeks.

What kind of shit was that? What were they going for extra yardage for?

Yeah, either run the ball straight ahead or throw a quick out. Norv outsmarted himself. Also, Bridgewater is rather mediocre.

Jimmy Claussen has a chance to face the Seahawks with his second team this year, if Schaub is out for the Ravens this week. Earlier this year, with Claussen filling in for Cutler, the Bears punted on every possession in a 23-0 loss.

He's a rich man's Ponder. All the football IQ in the word can't save you if you can't throw the ball 20 yards downfield.

And that was one of his best games.

Wonder what the record for that is? Anybody ever faced the same team three times with three teams?

I couldn't find anything. J.T. O'Sullivan has played for the most NFL teams in history with 11, but he never played for three teams in one year.

Maybe in the 1920s, someone would have, since many players were contracted on a per-game basis?
