And then there was One: Week 13 NFL thread

Discussion in 'Sports and News' started by Evil ... Thy name is Orville Redenbacher!!, Dec 2, 2015.

  1. One undefeated team left heading to Week 13. It's the weakest undefeated team in NFL history. Not that is surprising news. ... The Panthers also travel to New Orleans... Maybe, possibly the Saints can outscore them?

The Browns just keep on Browning ... Naming Austin Davis the starter Sunday as McGown is out for the year and Manziel will remain on the bench. Looks like a lock for Cincy.

Resurging Texans go to Buffalo. The Battle of New York.
Seahawks and Vikings should be a good one - probably headline game of the week.
Brock gets second act with Denver in San Diego (I LOVE the Chargers to win this game)
The Chiefs and Raiders is another good matchup.
The Eagles will get a shot at the Pissed off Patriots in Foxboro (Good Luck Chip!).
Colts in the 'Burgh and the NFC East-leading Redskins host the Cowboys.

Don't know that I'd call the Panthers "weak." Their defense is dominant.

That's the same clickbait concept from fivethirtyeight that produced the deathless 2007 Patriots were the best team in history story.

Speaking of click bait: Panthers = Sister Souljah?

They were talking about clickbait and how Sister Souljah is as good as Shakespeare, or something like that. In this discussion, there is talk that the Panthers are not a great unbeaten team and shouldn't be seen in the pantheon with the '07 Pats, and, I'm assuming, the '72 Dolphins, teams that are and will be remembered in football history.

In other words, time will tell if the Panthers will be seen as great as the others, just like time will tell if Sister Souljah is seen as comparable to Shakespeare.
