Bulldogs open the new era of basketball under Ben Howland this Friday night and football squad has taken an emotional hit with the deaths of former and present player, father/son duo, leading up to Saturday's hosting of Tide.
Should be an engrossing weekend at Starkville.

If I had to make a play on this over/under, I'd go under 77. For the first time this year Baylor's offense will find a defense that doesn't go run and hide.

You mean like Kansas State, which allowed "only" 31 points last week?

Kansas State has the second best defense in the Big 12. (I would say OU is 1.)
That being said....State gets lit up by Tech this week, and OU gets lit up by Baylor.

The TCU line is great, but could see them trying to score 80 after losing and still upset about not getting into the playoff last year. If it was a high school game probably would be a running clock in the 3rd quarter. Probably a few of KU's games would be.

Utah favored by only five over RichRod's sinking ship, a week after winning at Washington as an underdog.
Is this related to the fact that those who have the most faith in the Utes are forbidden from gambling?

I love me some MACtion tonight.

    Bowling Green -3
    No Illinois -6.5

    Friday:
    Colorado +16.5

    Saturday:
Missouri +6 for reasons mentioned on another thread.
Texas Tech -6 strongest play on the board.
    Mich Indiana OVER 57.
Iowa State +14. Southern teams hate Ames in November.
Washington +2.5. They'll win straight up.
