I feel like our nation, as a whole, needs anger management counseling already.

I keep watching the video that says she's throwing punches at the officer but all I see is someone reacting to being grabbed and manhandled.

I caught a brief clip of this and I was taken aback by how the rest of the class seemed to ignore what was happening. Could have been more reaction I missed, but the juxtaposition was striking.

It's pretty telling to me. They're all keeping quiet, some looking down or away, no one making a move. Seems like they know from experience how to react.

Perhaps we start by banning all the damn phones from classrooms.

I'm with you, if that account is accurate (and I suspect it is), not sure what else the school could do other than physically force the kid out.

It's not just the phones, it's anything. Remember the UW-Milwaukee student a few years ago? Essentially took over the class because the instructor wouldn't talk about the student's exam right then? Then, when the instructor had as a last resort called in security, she dared security to take her out? And then had the nerve to act surprised that they did?

You keep calling their bluff, eventually you're going to stumble across them not bluffing. And then you wind up like Hank Williams, Jr. did ...

She called the cops to take me in
And I said you're never gonna do it friend
And they just smiled and said "Oh Yes We Will"
Now a stick to the head and some kicks in the chin
And several bites from Rin Tin Tin
And I couldn't wait to get into that jail

And then when someone won't get off the phone in that situation?
