A one bedroom apartment in LA costs, on average, $1,928 per month.

At $25,000 per year, you'd make $2,083 per month. Before taxes.

So congrats! You're hired! And homeless!

$25,000 a year to write about 11-year-old little league football. I think I would sooner join the Westboro Baptist Church.

It's obvious from that lengthy, detailed job posting that they want a superbly talented media professional.

And then they want to pay that superbly talented media professional $12 an hour.

$25K isn't "THE GUY" money. It's "FUCK OFF" money.

    This isn't a Los Angeles Prep Football Recruiting Analyst/Journalist job. It's a Pre-Prep job.

As such, how many people here would ever do it? Who would do it at all, especially as an actual job, I mean? Not even parents, I wouldn't think.

Who are they going to get for it? This proves the absurdity of just how extensive recruiting news has become.
