NFL Week 6 Thread

The Week 5 thread will be finished as soon as the Steelers game kicks off, so why not get a head start on talking about teams not quarterbacked by a dog killer.

I fully expect the Bears to lose to the winless Lions.

Otherwise, The Falcons and Saints play Thursday as undefeated Atlanta draws another shitty team. Although these teams tend to get involved in shootouts.

    Chiefs-Vikings should be terribly boring.

I like the Bills' chances to hand the Bengals their first loss.

It will be interesting to see if the Browns' suddenly potent offense can do anything against the Broncos.

The Seahawks draw the unbeaten Panthers in what is pretty much a must-win situation if they want to have any chance at catching the Cardinals.

The Ravens-49ers is likely to be a shitty rematch of a recent Super Bowl.

And, of course, Brady against the Colts for the first time since Deflategate. The Colts could really use Luck in this game, but it might not matter.

If anyone cares, the Eagles and Giants play Monday night.

    With Luck: Pats 42-14
    Without Luck: Pats 49-7

Might as well rest him another week.

Starting Week 6 before the final game of Week 5 even kicks off? Very bad form or desperate cry for attention? Both?

Last week Hasselback practically rose from his deathbed and delivered a win. With a solid week of practice for him, who needs Luck?

  6. Can we start a Week 7 thread too?

Hell, let's just start a playoff thread now.

I may just get confused and put some posts about the Monday Night game here. I'm sure Sunshine would enjoy that.

By the way, that Monday night game Sunshine wanted to skip is competitive, if ugly. The Steelers just took the lead on a 70-yard interception return for a touchdown by Antwon Blake.

OK. Who sucks louder, Weeden or Cassel?
