Based on my past dealings with Nyack College, this is not the first time they have tried the "stick your head in the sand" method when trying to hide from the results of their negligence.

Also, the headline may be the oddest part of the story, but it certainly isn't the most disturbing thing Ludwigsen is accused of doing.

 

Sometimes, this shit is just so out there, I have a hard time comprehending.

This guy was interviewed and hired. No red flags? In the current climate, he does something wrong once, and don't you think 10 people would be pouncing on him?

He was investigated for the same fucking thing in 2013 in California. There. That took me a 72-second Google search.

In other words, was there ANY oversight of this program?

You would hope the hiring process would include a background check.

 

I knew the coach from travel softball. He ran a team called the NorCal bombers. Well respected and using his stint as member of Arizona u. Staff had golden college connections and could find a home or scholarship for almost any player.
Through a third party we met and then talked a few times at tourneys and on the phone about having my girl come out and play for him in CA (we are east coast). Never went deeper than just talk and some travel related research on my part. I really thought he was odd but very smart. We actually can't believe the accusations. Seriously, I was shocked. Hard to believe the nyack stories.

 

This isn't a new story. I've spoken to Nyack College students about it. It broke locally before making it to national outlets this week.

Are you saying you literally can't believe it or just that you are very surprised? Given that he faced the same accusations previously, it is tough to just write off the new accusations.

I don't see a problem. These players are not going into pro softball. If he had also brought in a lumberjack and a journalist to round out the career advice, probably would have been fine.
