American Airlines pilot dies mid-flight, en route from Phoenix to Boston. The co-pilot took over, the plane was diverted to Syracuse and landed safely.
Passengers didn't know what was happening until afterward.

Interesting factoid at the end ...

According to the FAA, seven pilots for U.S. airlines and one charter pilot have died during flights since 1994.

Randy: Excuse me sir, there's been a little problem in the cockpit…
    Striker: The cockpit…what is it?
Randy: It's the little room in the front of the plane where the pilots sit, but that's not important right now.
