College Football Week 5

Arkansas plays Tennessee.

The rules of college football state that someone must win. Given both coaches' penchant for late-game mishaps, I deem this highly entertaining.

Alabama getting points, even a measly 2.5, happens so seldom I have to take it, even though I suspect they're not that good.

 

Wisconsin should not be a 7.5 favorite over Iowa.

 

Ole Miss at Florida should be good. Can the Gators get lucky again?

The Big 12 looks interesting this year. Hard to tell who is the best.

Biggest game of the season for Georgia and I have to go to a wedding. Game starts at 3:30. Wedding starts at 3:30. Who are these assholes that schedule weddings on fall Saturdays in the south?

 

As do I when I take the time to look up the lines. I just got sidetracked by a work thing this morning and was late getting started.

 

Going to my annual Mizzou game this Saturday (21 -- or 22 -- years in a row for me and my college buddies, various girlfriends, wives, children, family, hangers on), and the only interesting thing will be to see if Drew Lock takes over at QB for Maty Mauk.

Horrified that Iowa State is favored by -15 (Kansas) over anyone.

Could see that line going down to 7 or 8 by Saturday.
