    Back in the 1980s, when CBS went through cutbacks, the nickname was the network was "Tisched" in honor of Larry Tisch, the person who bought the network.

    This isn't a d_b. We were all wondering when news of layoffs, cutbacks, would come. This is that story.

    Yeah, this isn't close to a d_b.

    I wonder how this will affect their design. Their football preview stuff was always excellent. Says some of it will move to the Gatehouse hub in Austin. I've heard good and bad things about design hubs over the years, but I've been told they don't save the money executives expect.

    I wouldn't be surprised if the entire print industry saw a 10 percent cut between now and Christmas.
