That's what James Harrison says. Don't give his kids any participation trophies:

James Harrison wants to return sons' trophies

    Win or GTFO!

This from the guy who said don't invite his team to the White House only when it wins the Super Bowl. Give him that trophy even when they lose!

Kids' trophies are dumb. The real smart guys are the ones getting animated about kids' sports.

How old are his kids and what was the nature of the event? I didn't see that in the story.

I don't remember that bit about the White House, but I don't doubt it. I just don't understand why anybody is trying to apply logic to the thinking of James Harrison.

That's my question. If they're seven, I don't agree at all. If they're 15, he has a point.

The ever-reliable Wikipedia says his kids were born in 2007 and 2009.

Deebo is in the conversation for the greatest nickname ever given to an NFL player.

I read this story after reading a) an Atlantic story about comedians being afraid to play college campuses and b) that New York Times piece about working for Amazon. And, I was thinking, "Thank God someone recognizes life can be tough sometimes."
