Love this, and it's an excellent summation of what's happening in our country nowadays:

Yes, Your Opinion Can Be Wrong | Houston Press

I call this the Ricky Bobby Syndrome:

I have had so many conversations or email exchanges with students in the last few years wherein I anger them by indicating that simply saying, "This is my opinion" does not preclude a connected statement from being dead wrong. It still baffles me that some feel those four words somehow give them carte blanche to spout batshit oratory or prose. And it really scares me that some of those students think education that challenges their ideas is equivalent to an attack on their beliefs.

Sounds like your typical liberal indoctrinating professor.

I was just having this conversation two weeks ago with someone. Somewhere along the line, we stopped telling stupid people they are stupid.

Could you imagine if Dan Quayle came along now? He was a four-year punching bag for Johnny Carson before talk radio was huge, before there were 38 news networks and back when CNN *gasp* covered news. This guy said things equally as stupid as Palin. Fucking spelled potato wrong for crissakes. Quayle was labeled an idiot and never heard from again, yet Palin was able to carve out a niche fanbase of wackos who defend her throughout.

They let YF make that sign. You can smell the loathing of potheads in that sign.

Quayle wasn't an old Republican's milf fantasy.

Can't be YF. "You're" is spelled correctly.
