Assuming he is dead, I count him as the second deceased SB winning starting qb (I am going from memory). Anyone have the other?

  6. So this completely wrong or only a matter of time?
Did he suffer a stroke or something?

Rumor has it he has been suffering from prostate cancer for some time.

But you're right. It could be a case where he's on the verge of death but technically still alive, and a source jumped the gun.

Or it could be a Nelson Mandela situation where he lives another 4-5 years.

    David Woodley is also dead.

  11. I remember that being the case out west somewhere a few years back where a pro skater or surfer was reported dead, but he was technically alive so they could harvest his organs. He died a day or two later.

I wish The Snake the best. One of my favorite non-Steeler QBs

Morrall never started a SB for the winning team.
