Eric Holder wants to know what the big deal is. Oh, wait. It's not a big deal.

There was a typo in the copy. One of the Facebook commenters pointed it out, and took a shot at Gannett.

Then the EE responded, said that the typo would be fixed, and that the reporters were trying to file as fast as they could and things would be dealt with. Which is a little lame, but he would have been OK.

Then he whines and says excuse his sarcasm, but two cops died and complains that the poster is bashing his reporters for a spelling mistake.

Then a woman responds by saying that is what copy editors are for, but they were all laid off.

Seems like someone should have stepped away from the computer.

ADD: Oh, and the photo caption messed up one cop's name. But hey, who needs copy editors?

Usually it's those sovereign nation guys who think they don't have to pay taxes who shoot cops dead at traffic stops.

Before we jump to any conclusions, we should consider what the cops might have done to provoke their killers.

Both men have multiple arrests for weapons and gun charges, and both have felony convictions.

For all the talk of "over incarceration", I always wonder why guys like this are still on the street, and in a position to murder two cops.

Why shouldn't we? It's all we talk about when a cop kills a civilian.

Those are rare. Much more likely that a person who knows he's about to go to prison for a very long time, either because he's got an active warrant or he's in possession of something he shouldn't be and realizes there's a good likelihood the cop will find it.

And to no one's surprise, YF willfully ignores the point.

Jesse Jackson is going to have a hard time figuring out which side to take in this case.

    Stop it with your facts.

We're looking for a narrative that fits a world view.
